Effective date: 9 June 2026 — By using TriggerTracker.co.za you agree to these terms.
Accessing or using TriggerTracker.co.za ("the service") means you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You confirm that the application reference numbers and personal details you enter are your own and that you are legally entitled to use them. You may not enter details belonging to another person without their explicit consent. Any fraudulent or unauthorised use will result in your account being immediately blocked and deleted.
TriggerTracker is entirely independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the South African Police Service (SAPS), any government department, WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, any firearm dealer, retailer, or advertiser on the platform, or any other organisation. Status information is sourced from the publicly accessible SAPS enquiry system and is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any status information.
To keep TriggerTracker free, we work with advertisers who may include brief promotional messages in the WhatsApp notifications we send you. We do not share your personal information with any advertiser. Their content is delivered to you — your data is never passed to them. You can contact us at any time if you have concerns about a specific advertisement.
You are required to specify the South African province in which you reside. This is used to serve you geographically relevant advertising. Providing an inaccurate province is a breach of these terms.
We collect only the information necessary to provide the service and comply with POPIA. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Suspicious, abusive, or automated access (other than normal use of the service) is prohibited and will result in your account being blocked and permanently deleted without notice.
